Time for the final tally…

All packed up and out the door. We’ll be doing the final number of books reveal tomorrow!

Shopping with the book donation money is one of my favorite parts of this project. It’s so fun to see how far we can stretch the money for these kids.

First status update: We are up to about 70 books (including monetary donations we converted into books)! Thank you for participating in this book drive.

We got our first books. We’re so excited to have kicked things off.

If you’re looking for a local donation option, our drop box is ready to go and waiting for books to keep it company!

After a two year hiatus, our book donation project is back again this year! Marshall is in charge this year and set a goal of 400 books. Can you help us meet this goal? Even just a $1 or $2 would go a long way to put books in the hands of kids this holiday season.

Drumroll, please…the boys and I are excited to announce that we collected 291 books for kids around the Chippewa Valley.

The first (and biggest) round of shopping is complete! Book totals to come…stay tuned.

We won’t know total book numbers until we go shopping this weekend (one of our favorite parts!!), but I’ve got three updates for you.

So far we’ve collected books/donations from 12 states (including the District of Columbia).

It sure would have been fun to bring these books to the library for a proper end to our book drive, but when there are 329 of them, having Covid as an excuse to schedule a pick up isn’t all bad.
