Day 1801 | Christmas Baking

Yesterday was baking day at my house. My mom arrived in the morning and we baked until the boys got home from school (and helped with the last batch). Man, what a lovely way to spend the day, you know? I feel very lucky to have the ability to do it, that’s for sure.

Here’s a list of what we made. Some of them aren’t the exact recipes, but you get the idea.

• Swedish Butter Cookies: almond-y and extra delicious

• Cranberry Orange Shortbread Cookies: The actual recipe here is for cherry + lime cookies, but I’ve always made the cranberry + orange variety.

• Hug Pretzel Bites

• Rolo Turtles

• Peanut Butter Blossoms

• Ginger Snaps

• Marble Sugar Cookies: sorry, no recipe online for this one

• Chocolate-Covered Almond Butter Brickle

Whew. No wonder I’m tired today.
