Day 909 | Morning Snuggles

Robbe slept in this morning so Chase and I had a shocking 45 minutes worth of snuggle time in bed. We laughed, we pretended to be sleeping, we talked about how excited we are for the holidays, we promised to be best friends forever, etc. Oh, and Chase enjoyed using the camera on my phone to capture the moment. The photo above is credited to him. Every time he put his little finger over the flash, he would look at the photo and say, "Look! A rainbow in this one!"

I just kept thinking to myself: man, I'm glad to have these mornings back (he had school last year so we had to get up and going everyday). In addition, I was thinking about how much I'm going to miss these mornings when he's in school full time again next year. At least I can be grateful and present in the moment because of this crazy gap year of school for him. I'll take it.
